Dolls designed especially for children. Most of them are Collector Edition - Barbie® dolls which are produced in quantities of more than 35,000*, and are designed for collecting and displaying. Mattel has introduced four new collecting levels in 2004 with a little different distinction for Barbie series: Platinum Label (limited to 1,000 pieces or less); Gold Label (limited to 25,000 pieces or less); Silver Label (limited to 50,000 pieces but over 25,000); Pink Label (dolls are made in greater numbers and available at a variety of stores).
